Maison Karak

Maison Karak is a clothing brand which takes its inspiration from travels. French design with an African twist, moved by Chinese families. Maud Roubeaud, the designer has worked as a journalist for 10 years and travelled around the world. During her travels, she was always fascinated by the many different craft fabrics she encountered. It is in Western Africa, in a house (”maison„ in French) of the Karak district of Dakar (Senegal), that she started to play with Wax fabric to design clothes. The AW20 collection also introduces some traditional Chinese fabric. Alongside a collection for women, Maison Karak offers matching accessories and clothing for kids and men.
